Bradley Jennings Napier, 34, of Vinton, a precious son and his sister's favorite Christmas present left this earth on Monday, September 12, 2011, on his final journey to be with the Lord. Bradley was born on December 25, 1976, and is survived by his parents, Clarence Wayne Napier, of Vinton, and Frances Louise Gay Patterson Garrett, of Vinton; sister, Danielle Napier Nester, of Roanoke; uncle, Bill Napier, of Vinton; aunts, Sharon McCarty, Joyce Carr and Bettie Haupt, all of Hardy; cousins, Mindy, Jeff, Jennifer, Kristi, Amy, Stephanie and Scott; and many, many devoted and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James C. and Margie Napier, William "Bill" Patterson and Lois Patterson. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011, at the Barnhardt Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Peters officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Barnhardt Baptist Church Building Fund or the SPCA.
