The burial card for Eleanor (Lena) Chittum was misspelled in the Hollywood Cem. office, under "Chillum," the two "t's" not having been crossed. In the death register, she was recorded as Lena "Chittman." She died at age 15 years, 9 months, 20 days of Cerebro Spi' Mennigitis.

Lena was originally buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia, Section 22 of Single Graves Area, Row 4, Grave 39. On Oct 20, 1909, she and brother Rollin Linwood (Lynwood) were moved to Riverview Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia, Plat C, Section 111, Division 12, double-depth (grave 4), under sister Sarah Frances [Chittum] Stansbury (Grave 13).

Brother Rollin Linwood was buried in double-depth Grave 3, under brother-in-law John Marshall Stansbury, Grave 14.

There are no markers for her or her brother Rollin Linwood's graves, only the records in the cemetery office.
CHITTUM--Died, Thursday, June 9th at 4:10 A.M., ELANOR COLEMAN CHITTUM, daughter of James Alexander and Anne C. Chittum, in the 16th year of her life.
Funeral from her parents' residence 223 South Laurel Street, FRIDAY, June 10th, at 5 P.M. Friends and relatives invited to attend.
