WAS LAID TO REST.
Funeral of Mr. Thos. Roach Held From St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
The funeral of Mr. Thomas Roach who died Tuesday evening at his home in the north part of town, was held this forenoon at nine o'clock from the St. Alphonsus church, Rev. Father Bassler officiating. There was a large number of the friends and acquaintances of the hold gentleman who desired to pay their last respects to him. The interment was in the Catholic cemetery.
Mr. Roach was a widower, his wife passing away about a year ago. He is survived by five children; Mrs. Alice Brown of this city, Thomas and Edward Roach of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Mary Sullivan of Chariton, and Mrs. Kate Hourihan of Burlington.
