Myrtle Miranda Fenton, 86, of the Centetville Care Center died Wednesday, March 23rd at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital.
She was born February 13, 1908 in Mystic, Iowa, the daughter of William and Jane (Connor) Dochterman.
She married Otha V. Fenton February 14, 1926. He preceded her in death July 29, 1971.
Survivors include four daughters. Lela Ponsetto and her husband, John, of Seymour; Barbara Allen and her husband, Mark, of Centerville; Beverly McFall and her husband, Jerry, of Des Moines, and Colleen Bryant and her husband, Terry, of Niceville, Florida; 12 grandchilddren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She received her education in the Mystic Community School where she graduated in 1926. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centerville where she taught adult Sunday School.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26th
at the Schmidt-Fuley Funeral Home in Centerville with the Rev. Duane McCracken officiating. Burial was in the Brush Cemetery near Plano.
Memorial were made in her name to the Brushy Cemetery or the Diabetic Association.
