Nicholas Snow, II
[Add Flowers]
Please note that the "will of Nicholas" that Mr. Grunert referred to is not a will of a Nicholas Snow. It's the will of a Joseph Walker from 1666. See . . . . We don't know where or when this Nicholas was born.died, who his parents or his children are but we know there were not two Snow men on the Anne in 1623. We have no records tying Wiliam, Anthony & Nicholas Snow as relatives much less brothers and NO birth dates for them or any document in Plymouth, MA showing their age. All birth dates for them were made up based on approx age of marriage or indenture. . . . We know MAYFLOWER Constance Hopkins' huband wasn't bapt 25 Jan 1599 because that child was buried 3 days later. . . . .See problems with 3 Nicholases in London between 1550 and 1600 here: . There are no records tying any of the Nicholas Hopkins in London to the others. No baptisms, burials or probate linking "1530" to "1578" to "1599". Someone decided all the Nicholas's are related based on no document and no record. And then they invented birth dates and death dates for them.

"If you donít recount your family history, it will be lost. Honor your own stories and tell them too. The tales may not seem very important, but they are what binds families and makes each of us who we are. " --- Nicholas Snow is my 8th GGrandfather on my mother's side.

The child baptized 25 Jan 1599 was buried 3 days later so didn't marry Constance Hopkins. *(A below) There are no baptisms for those children in records for that church. *(B) There is no "will of Nicholas". See that 1666 confusion & problems with the 3 Nicholases at *(C). Two Snows were not on the "Anne" in 1623 *(D). Remember, FAG is a submittal format often not based on fact. This is not a cemetery/church record. Ancestry does not check Green Leaf Hints or Find-a-Grave submittals for accuracy. (A) (B) (St. Dunstan Stepney) (C)
