Aunt Grace married William Diaz and they raised a beautiful daughter Maryann. Maryann married William Beam and they had three lovely daughters: Michele, Cheryl, and Lori.
Aunt Grace loved her family. And what a huge family it was with nine brothers and sisters. She was full of life and laughter. She would bring your spirits up with her antics. Everyone loved her.
Aunt Grace worked for years at the same store at Journal Square. She would hop onto the West Side Avenue bus to take her back and forth.
In the early days Aunt Grace and Uncle Bill owned a candy store on Mallory Avenue just up the street from her house. The kids remember it fondly.
