Mary E. Bell, 93, of Florence, Ky. and formerly of Hannibal, died at 4:30 a.m. March 20, 1998, at St. Luke's Hospital West in Florence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bell will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. The Rev. Mike Coleman will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park.
Mrs. Bell was born Jan. 31, 1905, in St. Louis to Frank and Martha Dawson Rose.
She was married to Orville Bell Sr. on Nov. 27, 1934, in New London. He preceded her in death July 13, 1984.
Survivors include two sons, Orville Bell Jr. of Kansas City and Darrell Maire Bell of St. Louis; three daughters, Mary Berkshire of Elkhart, Ind., Rosetta Cripe of Hannibal and Bonnie Schrader of Florence; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Bell was a retired upholsterer, having owned Bell Upholstery Center in Hannibal. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
