DEATH CLAIMS ANOTHER OLD CITIZEN

Mrs. John Lake, aged about 80 died in Teague Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. O. Keaton following a long period of declining health.
Her remains were interred in Lake Chapel Cemetery Tuesday in the presents [sic] of a large crowd of friends and neighbors. Rev. I. O. Dent conducted services.
Mrs. Lake had been a resident of the Ward Prairie neighborhood for nearly 50 years and was highly esteemed. She is survived by three children: Mrs.R. C. Odom now living in California, Miss [sic] W. O. Keaton of Teague, Ed Lake living near Fairfield.
