Walnut Ridge- DeWayne Dale Chastain, 53 passed away Saturday at his home. He was born January 15, 1958 to Donald and Marie Niswonger Chastain in Rockford, Ill. He had lived the last 26 years in Lawrence County and was a member of the Apostolic Church in Hoxie

He is survived by wife, Wilma Chastain and son Seth Chastain both of the home; daughters, Amanda White of Paragould, Melanie Rush and husband David of Hoxie, Stacy Flanery and husband Shea of Pocahontas; his parents; brother, Larry Chastain and wife Denise of Galena, Illinois; sisters, Janice Forkum of Portia, Karen Townsand and husband Ronnie of Rogers and Deborah Meador of Dallas, Tx; three grandchildren, Isiah White, Kelsey White and Jaxon Rush.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in House Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Delbert Curtis, Darrell Walker and Ted Shields officiating. Burial will follow in Stranger's Home Cemetery near Alicia.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-8 pm in the funeral home chapel.

Pallbearers: Alan Armstrong, Jacob Armstrong, Elvis Forkum, Austin Forkum, Kenny Green and Jerry Baker.

Honorary: Ernie Liles, Roy Hall, Brent Walker and Tony Gosha.
