Killed in a head-on car accident by a drunk driver by the name of Greg Shaw on Sunland Blvd in Shadow Hills Ca. when he crossed the center divider on the 4 lane road after playing bumper tag with his friend in another car. Lester's girl friend Mary Anne Erlich, who was driving the VW bus they were in at the time. She lost her lower right leg in the crash.LAPD held both party's at the seen for 3 hours while cutting Mary Anne out of the VW before administering blood alcohol tests,They came back just under the legal limit for that era. Both party's walked with no charges filed. Thank you LAPD.
