"Vernon W. Denison"
"Vernon Wesley (Denny) Denison, 59, of 4206 Portland Ave., died Sunday in a Seattle hospital. He was born in Perry, Iowa and came to Tacoma in 1918 from Iowa. He was a painter, a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft, Circle 427, the Painter's Union, Local 64, and a former member of the American Legion Post No. 138, Veterans of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Gladyse; two stepsons, a stepdaughter; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Mountain View Funeral Home."
