Virginia Carol Crow Cook, 78, of Parksville, died Tuesday in Danville. She was the wife of Paul Cook.
Born Dec. 7, 1928, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Crow and Ruth Westerfield Crow Baugh. She was the step-daughter of the late James Allen Baugh. Mrs. Cook was a retired Corning Glass Works employee and a member of the Parksville Knob Independent Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Paul Dennis Cook Jr., Charles Alan and William David Hilbert.
Survivors include two daughters, Carroll Cox of Lancaster and Kathy Lister of Parksville; a son, Jim Cook of Parksville; three sisters, Dolly Goins and Mary Ann Hampton, both of Danville, and Ruth Johnson of Perryville; two brothers, Garnett and Ernest Baugh, both of Danville; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
Services were at Wilder Funeral Home by the Revs. Junior Fields and Terry Orcutt with burial in Parksville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary Christerson, Robert Cox, Todd and Eric Cornett, Jason Wofford and Anthony Barrow.
Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Cook's granddaughters and Dr. Finley Hendrickson.
