LILLY ANN FOXWELL BALL was born in the State of Virginia in the year, 1818, and died at her home in Decatur City, Iowa, Saturday morning, April 16, 1904 at 2:30 o'clock, aged 89 years. She was united in marriage to WILLIAM JACKSON BALL in 1841. They came to Iowa in the year 1874, where they both remained until death.They were both members of the Methodist Episcopal Church and lived consistent Christian lives. In her death the community recognizes the loss of one of its oldest and most highly respected citizens. In her sickness she endured the pain with Christian fortitude, anxiously looking for the time of release that she might enter into the rest of the children of God.Funeral services were held from the M.E.
