Feliciana "Chana" V. Badena, 67, of Coachella, Calif. passed away February 15, 2011 in Rancho Mirage, Calif. She was born in Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico. She was an active member of the Valley Missionary Program for many years. She is survived by her husband, Jesus Badena; her daughters, Maria Badena Sanchez, Leticia Badena Alvarez, Maria Concepcion Badena, Janet Badena, Andrea Badena, and Isabel Badena; sons, Jesus, Miguel, Carlos, Juan Jorge, Andres, and Juanito (all Badena); 37 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Maura Maeda Ham, and Maria Romero; and brother, Emeterio Maeda and Eduardo Maeda. A Funeral Service will take place Saturday February 19, 2011 from 6-8:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church in Indio. A Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 from 5-10:00 PM at Valley Missionary Program in Coachella with a Rosary at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will take place at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011 at Our Lady of Soledad Catholic Church in Coachella follow by Burial at Coachella Valley Cemetery in Coachella. Arrangements are being handled by Casillas Funeral Home of Coachella.
