He was 5 7 tall, fair complexion, blue eyes, and light hair. Born in Tippecanoe Co., IN, employed as a farmer. Mustered out at the end of the war Sep. 14, 1865 in Chattanooga, TN. Notes: A Private from 72nd IN Co. G before consolidating into 44th IN Jul. 1, 1865. He filed Invalid Pension Application to receive Pension Certificate #366093 Jun. 8, 1886. Married Louisa Gallion 1882. Perhaps died Apr. 12, 1899; buried in Conarroe Cemetery, Tippecanoe Co., IN.
