ROBERT A. ROBERTSON
Wapello -- Robert Abraham Robertson, 79, retired Louisa County farmer and Wapello resident for 18 years, died at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday at Mercy Hospital, Burlington.

Funeral services will be held at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello, at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Wapello cemetery.

Mr. Robertson was born July 1, 1883 in Louisa County and lived in the county all his life. He was married in Wapello to Bertha Ashby [in 1910].

His wife survives. Also surviving are five [four] daughters, Yetena [Yeteva] Smith, Conesville, Mrs. Myrtle Gott, Columbus Junction, Mrs. Nettie Gott, Wapello, and Mrs. Marylee Nelson, Silvis, Ill.; six sons, Clarence and Richard Robertson, Wapello, Rex Robertson, Letts, Clifford Robertson, Grandview, Burtus [Burtis] Robertson, Oakville, and Harold Robertson, Muscatine; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Young, Wapello, and Mrs. Orpha Carpenter, Burlington; 40 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Two children, one brother and one sister [preceded in death].
