Mrs. Tugel had owned arid operated a beauty salon in Carl, worked several years for her brother at Antisdel Produce and 16 years at Sheridan Egg Company in Lenox, retiring in 1980. She had lived in Creston, Winterset, Coon Rapids and Leon before moving to Corning. She was a member of the Corning American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister in infancy; husband In 1970; sister-in-law Mae Antisdel in 1989; and brother Junior Antisdel in 1997.
Survivors include her sons Jerry "Jake" (wife Vicky) Tugel, Carlisle, and Terry (wife Barbara) Tugel, Menasha, Wis.; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 4 at Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Corning with Larry Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Carl Cemetery. Casket bearers were Mike Adams, Terry Moore, Ronald Brown, Arch Roberts, Bill Morrison and Donald Willett. Honorary bearers were Ronald Hunter, Dick Brown, Bob Brown, Calvin Downey. Carol Little. Ron Brown and Rod Longabaugh.
