Chief of the Huron Potawatomi. At the age of three, he was thought to have been removed to Kansas and nothing is known of his life there. In 1864 he returned to Michigan, and the transfer of power was made to him from his father, "Old" Pamptopoee." From 1882 until 1905, he served as the leading spokesman for all non-Pokagon Potawatomi people in Michigan when dealing with claims against the US Government. He became an ordained minister in 1897. He died at the age of 77.
