FERRIDAY — Services for Vera Keyes Huff, 93, of Ferriday, who died Friday, March 25, 2011, in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Wayne Gray officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Huff was born Nov. 5, 1917, in Waterproof, La., daughter of John Wiley and Laura Elizabeth Keyes.

She was a resident of Ferriday, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ferriday.

She was preceded in death by husband Curtis Phillip Huff; her parents; three brothers, Roy Keyes, Willis Keyes and Walter Patton Keyes; and five sisters, Clemmie Blalock, Velma Duncan, Maude Gayle, Hazel Walker and Hilma Chennault.

Survivors include two daughters, Gwen Huff Webber and husband Clyde Ray and Patsy Huff Newman and husband Marion, all of Ferriday; son James Curtis Huff and wife Jackie of Monterey; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family request memorials made in lieu of flowers to Concordia Parish Library or charity of choice.
