Marsha BURROUGHS, 77, New Port Ritchey, Fla., died Friday at Helen Ellis Hospital in Tarpon Springs, Fla.
She was born June 26, 1913 in Marshall County to Charles A. and Arlie M. DICKSON CHAPLAIN. She moved to New Port Ritchey in 1969 from Plymouth. On June 25, 1933 in
Donaldson she married Otto BURROUGHS, who survives. She was a retired nurse's aide. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, New Port Ritchey.
Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Patricia) BREVOORT, Palm Harbor, Fla.; a son, H.H. "Barney" [BURROUGHS], Atlanta, Ga. four grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Jean BOSWICK, Salinas, Calif.; Vera TOLIVER, Klamath, Ore., and Frieda CHAPLAIN, Henderson, Nev., and two brothers, Maynard [CHAPLAIN], Cleveland, Ohio, and Dwight [CHAPLAIN], Pollack Pine, Calif.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with the Rev. Wilber L. FISCHER officiating. Burial will be in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery, southeast of Argos. Friends may call from 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
