Happy 60th Birthday Mr. Show ! I'm thankful I was once again able to make the trip up to Riverside to your resting place. I was having car trouble a few weeks back and was wondering if I was going to be able to make the trip this year. I'm glad it all worked out. I hope you liked the display that was left in honor of you and recognizing your 60th born day. Man !, where does the time go ? It seems like just yesterday to me when you were in your 20's & 30's playing baseball for the Padres. Thanks again for taking a picture with me back in 1984 when I was 10 years old. I still have the picture. Please know that you are ALWAYS REMEMBERED , NEVER FORGOTTEN !!!!

Remembering you today. May you rest in peace and may God richly bless you. I remember watching you pitch every year that I had season tickets. You were a great pitcher that left us way too soon. Thank you for your performance.

Just wanted to let you know that you are not forgotten. I'm so glad I was able to meet you when I was 10. You may have been misunderstood by some people but from some of the things I have read and heard about you I believe you had a good heart and cared about people. God bless you Mr. Show.

On this date 29 years ago -- Sept. 11, 1985 -- San Diego's Eric Show allowed a single in the first inning to Pete Rose, whose 4,192 career hit broke Ty Cobb's record. It was the eighth time Rose got a hit off Show, who was among 630 pitchers who contributed to the Rose hit parade.

Where does the time go ? It seems like just yesterday when I was 10 years old and watching players such as yourself and Alan Wiggins on Friday or Saturday nights with my grandfather at Jack Murphy Stadium. Those were the good old days ! You and Alan were very misunderstood by people and were mistreated because of it. I'm so sorry you both had such struggles in your lives both on and off the field. Your contributions and memories will not be ignored or forgotten by me. Peace be upon both of your souls and spirits. One love ! Please tell Mr. Jerry Coleman the same. Show, Wiggins, and Coleman ALWAYS REMEMBERED, NEVER FORGOTTEN !!! and on that note YOU CAN HANG A STAR ON THAT BABY !!!!!

Happy 57th Birthday Mr. Show ! I hope you liked the display I left for you a day before your birthday ? Hopefully your family members liked it as well ? You are a very caring person and I truly feel that you are still caring and helping others but the only difference now is that you're doing it while being by gods side. Godbless you Mr. Show and your family and please give Mr. Wiggins and Mr. Chuck Muncie my best regards and well wishes as well.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Show. My apologies for the lateness. You were, are, and will always be a part of the national pastime. More than just a ballplayer, you were a well-rounded individual who seemed to be very intelligent and profound. I had always wanted to meet and talk to you. May God continue to bless and watch over you those you love then now, and always. RIP.

You were a gritty competitor and were not afraid to pitch inside. Spring training has started and there are so many teams that could use you. Rest in peace.
