Jane Lakes, 65, of Lincoln, formerly of Atlanta, died 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at her residence.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Mrs. Lakes will be cremated. Memorial services may be scheduled at a later date. Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta, handled arrangements.
Born January 4, 1940 at Mt. Auburn, a daughter of Clarence and Mildred Bowles Black. Married Arthur White June 18 1960 at Lincoln. Mr. White died January 5, 1993. She later married Lyle B. "Jack" Lakes February 11, 1994 at Atlanta. Mr. Lakes died March 17, 2001.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathy ; Carrie White.
One son Tim
Seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Lakes was a home maker. She attended New Wine Fellowship, Lincoln.
