MARY ANITA VAN DEVENTER, a loving wife and wonderful mother passed away on Friday December 20, 2002. She was born in Tulsa, OK on November 6, 1931. She was a devoted member of her church, a long time member of the Delphians and The En Amie Book Review club. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, James A. Van Deventer; son, Rod Van Deventer; daughters, Kay Seaman and husband Mark, Anne Trahan and husband Kerry, Sue Wildermuth and her husband Jim, and seven grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 28th at the Community of Christ Church, 6122 Fairbanks North Houston, Houston Texas, 77040. In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made to her church or to the Houston Area Delphian Chapter Scholarship Foundation at HADCSFF, 6720 Sands Point, Suite 208, Houston, TX 77074.
