Anne H. Alderman, 79, passed away April 19, 2011 at Friendship Village of Dublin. She was born in East Flat Rock, NC. Preceded in death by her parents William R. and Annie Mae Hoots and her brother William R. Hoots, Jr. Survived by husband Frederic; sons Paul (Wendy) and James Stevens; daughter Rebecca (Raymond) Pokorski; grandchildren Ezekiel, Jacob, Ellie Grace and Anna. Anne was a long-time member of Mountview Baptist Church where she served on all the boards and was the first female moderator. Anne graduated from Meredith College and earned her Masters Degree in Education from OSU. She worked at North Central Mental Health and the Treatment Foster Care Department of Hannah Neil Center for Children. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Homereach Hospice or to the Health Center at Friendship Village of Dublin. A memorial service will be held 9 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at Mountview Baptist Church, 2140 Fishinger Road, Rev. Kevin Snyder officiting. Private interment at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements by DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME (614) 486-2445.
