DECATUR -- Audrey Ann Crutchfield, 64, of Decatur died 3:20 p.m. Wednesday (May 6, 1998) in Friendship Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to service time. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Decatur Memorial Hospital Hospice or American Cancer Society.
Ms. Crutchfield was born Nov. 14, 1933, in Maroa, the daughter of Roy and Ruth Irene Link Hanks. She was a home care giver for the last few years and had worked at Swartz Restaurant for 30 years. Audrey was a loving, caring and giving person and will be missed by her many friends and family. She was an avid Dale Earnhardt race fan and went to many Nascar races.
Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia Disney and husband Glenn of Decatur; brothers, Roy Gene Hanks of Decatur; John Hanks of Yucca Valley, Calif.; sister, Peggy Knapp and husband Art of Yucca Valley; granddaughter, Melissa Hess and husband Jason of Decatur; grandsons, Douglas Kelm and Joshua Disney, both of Decatur; great-granddaughter, Savannah Hess. She was a special friend of Bob Sowers and the Sowers family for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother
