After Vietnam James worked for The Atlanta Motor Lines as the night shop foreman in Conley, Georgia.
After Atlanta Motor Lines went out of business, Milan Express Company brought the terminal and hired James as the shop supervisor where he worked until he died.
James died too young of cancer due to being exposed to agent orange in Vietnam. He is missed by all who knew him.
