July 19, 1968 - Dec. 29, 1991
SANFORD, Fla. - Richard Lee Fletcher Jr., 23, of Sanford, Fla., formerly of Mace, Indiana died Sunday December. 29th, 1991 in an accident in Florida.
Mr. Fletcher was a student at the University of Central Florida and a supervisor for recreational services there.
He was a member of the 22nd Special Forces Army Reserve Unit at Brooksville, Fla.
He served during Operation Desert Storm.
He was born July 19th, 1968, at Canandaigua, N.Y.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Sylvia and Ken Gass of Mace; his father Richard Lee Fletcher of Sanford; two sisters, Ninette Sue Fletcher of Sanford and Anita Gass of Abilene, Texas; one brother, Steven Ray Gass of Crawfordsville, and grandparents Harold and Celestine Fletcher of Indianapolis, Elmer and Frances Bunten of New Winchester and Nellie Gass of Crawfordsville.
Military services took place at 11:30 a.m. on Friday January 4th, 1992 at Oaklawn Memorial Park at Lake Mary, Florida, Brisson Funeral Home at Sanford was in charge of arrangements.
