Richard Arnold Hale, Sr. 67, of Midland, VA died at his home on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. He was born on February 18, 1944 in Rochester, New York to the late Kenneth and Dorothy Hale.
Mr. Hale retired from the US Air Force as a Major after 24 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his children Richard A. Hale, Jr. of Midland, Chris Hale of Michigan and Stephanie Staple of Nebraska, a sister Pat Gauly of Florida. Additional survivors include his grandchildren Haleigh, Richard III, Eric, heather, Johnny, Chris, Jr., Zach and Max.
A graveside service was held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA, with Full Military Honors.
