Mrs. Linda Dianne Durden McCollum, age 44, died Monday at her residence. The Candler County native lived in Statesboro most of her life. She attended Portal High School. Mrs. McCollum was a caregiver for the elderly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Durden and Sonia Linda Lively.
Surviving are her husband, Johnny McCollum of Nevils; a daughter, Amanda Skinner of Brooklet; a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Megan Skinner of Brooklet; a granddaughter, Nevaeh Lovett of Brooklet and step son, Andrew McCollum of Register. They are expecting the birth of a grandson in August, Christopher Skinner, Jr.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00am in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
