Born in Natick, Massachusetts on September 19, 1919, the daughter of Samuel J. and Gertrude S. Ames Thomas, she was educated in Natick schools.
Mrs. Krupski had been employed as a seamstress for the former Glix Brand Pajama Company, Berkshire Coat Factory, and the S.S.S.S. Company. Mrs. Krupski had been a member of the Peru Congregational Church where she had volunteered and was active in their pot luck suppers. She was also a member of the Ladies Guild of Peru. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, hand embroidery, sewing, and shared her hand-made items to family and friends.
Her husband, Stanley Francis Krupski, whom she married November 8, 1941 in Natick, died October 19, 2005.
Mrs. Krupski is survived by three daughters, Gertrude "Truddy" Drosehn of Hinsdale, Nora V. MacDonald of Lisbon Falls, Maine, and Paula E. Waldron and her husband, Brian, of Peru; six grandchildren, William Drosehn, Matthew Drosehn and his wife, Patricia, Missy Bourgoin and her husband, Rob, Derek MacDonald, Todd MacDonald and his wife, Melissa, and Erin Stacey; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Doreen Krupski of Greenfield. She was pre-deceased by a son, Francis E. Krupski, in 1979, and a son-in-law, William Drosehn, in 2002.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Sigmund Sadzinski, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Peru Center Cemetery.
Calling hours will precede the services from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
