Josephine M. Bashore, 85, formerly of Bethel, died October 2nd at 11:58 p.m. upon arrival at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She had been a resident of Cedar Haven, Lebanon, for the past seven years. Her husband Ansan F. Bashore died March 6, 2002. Born in Lebanon the daughter of the late Davilla and Mary (Stangel) Hower. She was a homemaker. Surviving are son, George A. Bashore, Mount Aetna; and daughter, Kathryn A., wife of Michael Gerstner, Lebanon; also seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. from Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg. Interment at Frystown Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
