Drucilla Fisher, mother of S. B. Fisher of this place, died at Uhrichsville on Monday, aged 87 years. Her remains were brought to Carrollton yesterday on the 3:35 p.m. train. Funeral services will take place at the Reformed Church this afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Hawk officiating.

Drusilla Fisher was born in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, A.D., 1891, at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Etta R. Bricker in Uhrichsville, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. She lived 85 years and 7 months. She was buried in the Carrollton Cemetery, May 20, from the home of her son, Samuel B. Fisher in Carrollton, Carroll County, Ohio. She survived her husband, Nathaniel B. Fisher, 15 years. She was the mother of 9 children, 3 sons and 6 daughters, 3 daughters of which preceded her to the grave. She had 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She connected herself with the M. E. Church in her 12th year, in which she lived a devoted Christian life 53 years, at which time she connected herself with the German Reform Church in Carrollton, Carroll County, Ohio, in which she lived as she died, in full faith of her Lord and Master.
The following children attended her funeral: Mrs. Mary J. Marshall of Moorefield, Harrison Co., Ohio, Mrs. S. E. Ray and husband, J. C. Ray of Freeport, Harrison Co., Ohio, Mrs. Josephine Porter and husband, Austin Porter of Bowerston, Harrison Co., Ohio, Johnson V. Fisher of Bowerston, Harrison Co., Ohio, Samuel B. Fisher and wife, Sophia D. Fisher of Carrollton, Ohio. Her oldest son, James T. Fisher and wife of Uhrichsville, were not present on account of sickness. Grandchildren present: Matilda Fisher and sister Lizzie of Uhrichsville, Tuscarawas Co., Ohio, Orvy Porter and brother Harry of Bowerston, Harrison County, Ohio, Charles H. Fisher and wife of Smithfield, Jefferson County, Ohio, Harry Fisher of Bowerston, Harrison County, Ohio. Strangers from a distance: Mr. Grant Newell and Miss Jennie Albaugh of Bowerston, Ohio.
