Inventor. Created a version of the Water Wheel (his version is presently in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC). He built the Bradway Millpond in Monson, Hampden, Massachusetts, to supply water for an up and down sawmill. After building the pond, he established a water wheel factory which became very popular due to its wheel designs.
