He is preceded in death by his sisters, Carol and Carrie. Survived by his sons Jason and James Schroeder; his parents Leonard and Eileen Schroeder; brothers Dennis (Mary), William (Lori), Paul and John; sisters Christine (David) White and Karen (Tom) Lee; and many loving family and friends. Bob worked as a maintenance technician at Universal Studios. In Wisconsin, Bob loved spending time with his boys, Jim and Jason, taking them to the Dells, going to bow and arrow tournaments, batting practice, playing basketball and video games. They liked the outdoors, going fishing or tubing on the lake by their grandparent's home. Jim and Jason will miss their long, late night talks with their dad. Bob enjoyed family gatherings, pitching horseshoes and bonfires. He moved to Florida in 2001 and loved the weather. He always looked forward to taking visiting family to theme parks, water parks, Gatorland, canoeing and airboat rides. Bob got real satisfaction from working with his hands, whether it was remodeling, roofing or working on anything mechanical with his dad. They often found three or four of the same tool in his shed. Living close to his parents, they often got a call to find out what was for supper. He looked out for his folk's right to the end. Bob enjoyed talking with the friendly folks in Orange Tree Park while working outside. He was so glad to go back to Wisconsin one more time to visit his sons and family.
We will miss his unique loud laugh. Bob requested there be no funeral.
If so desired, donations may be sent to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 W. Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. We want to thank Paula Heisner and Peg McDonald for their loving care during Bob's illness.
Arrangements entrusted to DeGusipe Funeral Home.
