"Caroline A. Berg, 69, of Louisville, died Monday, October 6, 2003, at her home. Born in Minnesota, she was the former Caroline Rimer, a manager of Kentucky School Service, a former co-owner of PRP Office Supply for 17 years and a member of VFW Post #5421 Ladies Auxiliary and St. Polycarp Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, John K. Berg; four daughters, Marie Wyatt (Gary), Kathleen Allamon (Dennis), Doreen Couch (Roger) and Rebecca Schmitt (James); a brother, Jerry Rimer (Marilyn); four sisters, Donna Clough, Patricia Schiebe (Gary), Sharon Engle (Don) and Colleen Clark (Larry); five grandchildren; six great-grand-children; and a nephew, Dan Rimer. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2003, at family-owned Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may go to Hospice of Louisville. The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff of Hospice of Louisville for their support."
