Ora "Mae" Williamson, age 90, of DeSoto, entered into rest on November 3, 2010 at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. She was a homemaker and a member of DeSoto Christian Church. Born July 28, 1920, in DeSoto, to the late Henry E. and Nettie (Rowden) Gideon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester L. Williamson.

She is survived by two sons: David L. (Jackie) Williamson of DeSoto and Karl A. (Connie) Williamson of St. Peters; five grandchildren: Anthony (Susan)Williamson of Festus, Susan (Michael) Ruch of Festus, Carrie L. Williamson of Granite City, IL, Roslyn Phelan of St. Peters and Vanessa A. Williamson of Florissant; three great-grandchildren: Nathan Phelan of St. Peters and Michael Dillon and Mason Daniel Ruch of Festus; one sister, Celeste (Floyd)Farrow of Duncan, OK; one brother, Lynn (Mary)Gideon of DeSoto.

She was preceded in death by three sisters; Ruth Oldham, Norma Dover and Lois Huskey, and five brothers: LaVern, Myron, Donald, Ray and George Gideon.

Service will be officiated by Reverend Ron Follmer.
