Wilma Haynes, 96 years, 3 months, and 24 days old, passed to heaven on May 6, 2011 at Ozark Nursing & Care Center, Ozark, MO.

Wilma was born January 13, 1915 in De Pew, MO to John T. and Attie Grace (Bowers) Swearengin.

On March 20, 1930 Wilma and Roscoe Haynes were united in marriage in Springfield, MO and to this union 10 children were born.

Wilma was the last of 13 children in her own family. She was a member of the Beaver Community Church. Wilma enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, and loved teasing and joking with her friends. She was dedicated to taking care of all her children.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Ozark Nursing Care Center for the their care of Wilma.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roscoe, one son, Clyde Haynes, three grandsons, Boyd, Dennis and Harold and an infant son.

Wilma is survived by nine children, Gerald & Marjorie Haynes, Jeanette & Darrell George and Larry & Vivian Haynes all of Ava, MO, Charles Haynes, Niangua, MO, Jackie & Ruth Haynes, Marshfield, MO, Ronnie & Judith Haynes, Fordland, MO, Juanita Goins, Sparta, MO, Carolyn Hendrix, Springfield, MO and Rebecca & Brian Plunkett, Nixa, MO, 25 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many friends.

Funeral services for Wilma will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Ellison Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Roger McCullough. Memorials may be made to Ellison Cemetery.
