ARAND Marilyn RaLane "Lane" Arand, 69, of Jefferson City, died Monday, June 18, 2007, at her residence. She was born August 1, 1937, in Sandy, Utah, the daughter of Doyle H. and Bernice Lane Brown. She was married June 8, 1960, in Union, Mo., to Christopher William Arand, who died May 1, 1992. She was a 1955 graduate of Jordan High School, Sandy, Utah. Mrs. Arand was a hairdresser in Jefferson City and Hermann for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. "Lane", as she was known by her friends, was very sociable and had many dear friends. She will be missed by all. She loved to read and travel. Survivors include one son, Michael Arand, Jefferson City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Richard Sipe, Sedalia, and Melissa and Kelly Bockting, Dillon, Mont.; eight grandchildren, Christopher Sipe, Mindy Haesemeyer, Mallory Arand, Paige Arand, Adam Arand, Alexandra Arand, Austin Bockting, and Hunter Bockting; one great-grandson, Mason Sipe; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Jacqueline Wisuri, Lake Ozark, Mo., Carma and LaMarr Olson, Sandy, Utah, and Kathy Hammer, Sandy, Utah; several nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law, Cleona Brown, Sandy, Utah. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lynn Brown and Jerald Brown. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Interment will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2007, at St. George Catholic Cemetery, Hermann, Mo. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 2413 Hyde Park Rd., Jefferson City, MO 65109; or to the Chris and Lane Arand Memorial Scholarship, Gasconade County R-1 Schools, Hermann, MO 65041.
