Murder Victim. Kimberly was born in Ann Arbor Michigan. She disappeared from the Pacific Highway South near the Ben-Carol Motel, located at Pacific Highway South, in late October or early November 1983. The Pacific Highway South was also known as the Sea-Tac strip. Two years later the partial skeletal remains were found in woods known as North Bend, about 35 miles east of Seattle and was identified by dental records as 26 year old Kimberly L. Nelson. She was a murder victim of Gary Leon Ridgway, known as "The Green River Killer" who was responsible for the murders of 49 women in Seattle, Washington, between 1982 and 1984.
