Marion was active in Alton Methodist Church, and helped cook and prepare their public suppers for many years. Family was always her first priority and very important to her. Marion especially enjoyed gardening and her plants.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Mabel Foster and her husband, Glenn; her son, Lester "Mickey" Goodwin and his significant other, Sherril Burdin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her longtime friend and card partner, Joyce Ellis. In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her husband, Cecil; daughter, Sherry Harriman; and sisters, Arlene Collins and Doris White.
A graveside service will be held at Alton Cemetery, Route 16, Alton. (Bangor Daily News 4/22/2011)
