Edith Marie Lamb, 89, of Springfield died Wednesday at St. John's Hospice. She was born July 21, 1905, in Waverly, the daughter of George and Daisy Groacher Shores. She married Paul Lamb in 1926; he died in 1974. Mrs. Lamb was employed in the dietary department at Memorial Medical Center for 12 years.
Survivors: a brother, William J. Shores of Virden; and several nieces and nephews.
