Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Howell Harper, 81, of Sugartown will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in Shiloh Baptist Church. Chaplin J.D. Ford Jr., the Rev. Seth Baggett, and the Rev. Preston Simmons will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Mrs. Harper was born in Grant and had been a resident of Sugartown most of her life. She was a member of Sugartown Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Stanley of Lake Charles and Mrs. Vicy Hickabay of Port Arthur, Texas; six grandchildraen; 14 great-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren
