ADAMS, Emma Rachel (Collier) Adams, formerly of Mason, KY, born September 8, 1918 went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the age of 94. She is preceded in death by her husband of over sixty two years, Floyd Adams; her parents, Jim & Maggie Hedges Collier; sisters, Lula Hopper and Lillian Mason. There will be rejoicing when she joins them. She made her home in later years with her nephew, Emmett Buckley of Erlanger and recently in the home of Judith Yowler of Florence, her personal nurse and friend. She was a homemaker, member of the Mason Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and played the piano, an accomplished accordion player, loved to sing, an excellent quilter and special aunt to many. She leaves many nieces and nephews (too many to mention) and so many special friends. Visitation will be 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1pm on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Mason Baptist Church, 320 Mason-Sipple Rd., Mason, KY 41054 or Multiple Sclerosis of SW OH & NO.
