Alfred L Duncan, 82 of Portsmouth,formerly of Dayton and McDermott,died Friday,May 10, 1991,at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born Nov 27,1908, on Duck Run,he was the son of the late Francis Floyd and Margaret E Higgins Duncan. He retired from Harris Seybold Co. of Dayton,having worked as a precision grinder. He was a 1928 graduate of McDermott High School and a member of Bigelow Methodist Church in Portsmouth. He was also preceded in death by his only child, Floyd Ray Duncan,July10,1952. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Alda Robertson Duncan; two brothers,Charles E Duncan of Dayton and H Jack Duncan of Gallipolis; two sisters, Ethel Duncan of Portsmouth and Ruth Dettwiler of Lucasville Route 6. Services will be held at 11 am Monday at McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville, with Pastor Frank Tallerico officiating,and internment in Rushtown Cemetery Friends may call from 3 to 6pm Sunday and an hour before the services Manday at the funeral home.
