Annie Veora Mikkelsen Collard, 88, died October 20, 1992, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Daniel.

Born June 9, 1904 in Fountain Green, Utah to James H. and Hannah Aagard Mikkelsen.

Married Harry J. Collard, February 13, 1924, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died April 17, 1982. Faithful member of the LDS Church, serving as Primary and Relief Society presidents. Devoted wife and mother, she took special pride in her family and their accomplishments. Her grandchildren brought her great joy. Loved her garden and her flowers.

Survived by children: Mrs. William (Fay) Pay, Nephi; Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Syme, Magna; Mrs. Joyce Anderson and Betty Collard, Daniel; Ed and Pat Collard, Bountiful; Harry and Barbara Collard, South Jordan; 34 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Lon (Relia) Ellet, Bicknell. Preceded in death by sister, Arvella Taylor; brothers, Leonard, Elmer and Verdell Mikkelsen; grandchild, Glen Pay and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Saturday, 12 noon in the Daniel Ward Chapel, 2385 South Mill Road. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary, 288 North Main, Friday, 7-9 p.m. and at the church Saturday, one hour prior to services.

Burial: Heber City Cemetery.
