 Happy Thanksgiving Bob & Elly! While you may be asleep in death, I still miss you and I continue to always drive up to your house on Thanksgiving day, merely to wave at the old, lovely place (which hasn't change much at all!) and remember "les heures joyeuses" spent at your table and later with me at Elly's feet as she sat on the ledge by the great fire place. I can't bring myself to make her Smoked Osyter Stuffing but I do still make all your favorite pies, Bob, and a big pitcher of Elly' Special secret iced tea. I still make the Cranberry sauce from scratch you loved so much too. How I wish you were still her to have a slice of Dutch Apple and Kentucky Derby Walnut Pie and then retired to the living room for coffee and a play session with Zan and Bobo Junior!  Long before you wrote Psycho you were a friend and correspondent of H. P. Lovecraft. You wrote a story about him, and in turn he wrote a story about you as Robert Blake in "The Haunter Of The Dark." What an incredible tribute. You are a Lovecraft legacy, and I am sure The Old Gent From Providence would be proud and delighted at your success. I was lucky to meet you at a Lovecraft Convention - 50 years after Lovecraft died and you still came to quietly honor him. May you and he and all the Kalem Club be having lots of eldritch adventures.
