Ina Faye Brazeal was born to Francis and Wilma (Cardwell) Elam on November 10, 1924 in Roby, Fisher, Texas.

On September 28, 1943 she married Horace Lee Gist and of this marrage one son was born Larry K. Gist.

She married Lloyd Brazeal on October 23, 1980. They made their home in Odessa. She was a home maker and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 430, Odessa.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Horace Lee Gist, her parents and a brother Robert Allen Elam.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd, son Larry Gist and his wife Cherryl of Midland, two grandsons Randy Gist and wife Jeannette of Odessa and Rodney Gist and wife Jacqui of Tulsa, OK, four great grand children Alexa-Rae, Bryce, Madison and Mason Gist, one sister Joveda Jackson of New Orleans, LA, two nieces Bobbie Bostick and Yetta Bolotte, both of New Orleans, LA.

Faye was a very dear lady and will always be remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her.
