FUNERAL TOMORROW FOR OSCAR BALLENGER
Macon County Native Dies in Savannah Sanatorium

Oscar Taylor Ballenger, 81, who has lived his entire life on his farm north of Callao, died yesterday at the Dr. Nichols Sanatorium at Savannah following a week's illness. A native of Macon County, he will be buried in the Ballenger Cemetery on a farm where he was born and reared. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of his son, Oval, by the Rev. Earl C. Mayhew. Survivors include two sons, Oval Ballenger and O. C. Ballenger, both of north of Callao. His wife and one son preceded him in death. He was taken to the Savannah Sanatorium a week ago by his son. Death was caused by a sudden heart attack.
