C. Dale Burson, 56, of Westerville, died Sunday (June 27, 1988) at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville.
He was born July 25, 1931 in Salesville, son of the late Clyde and Ardith Law Burson. He was a member of the Salem Baptist church, attended OSU and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was the accounting supervisor at the Columbus Coated Fabric for 36 years.
He leaves his wife, Shirley Willis Burson of Westerville; three daughters, Kathy Benedum of Sunbury, Beth Townley of Galena and Sarah Burson of Cincinnati; two grandchildren; one brother, Leslie Burson of Salesville; one sister, Faye Hayes of Salesville.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Rd, Westerville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Richard Ellsworth will be the officiating minister. Burial will be at Blendon Center Cemetery, Westerville.
