Elsie Marie Allen, 85, of Ewing Township passed away Friday at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Newark, NJ, she had resided in the Harbourton, FL, and the Ewing areas for many years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Hopewell and was a hospital volunteer in Florida and Skillman. Daughter of the late Arthur and Rose Seals Miller; wife of the late Robert W. Allen Sr., she is survived by a sister, Sarah Corteau; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. Allen Jr. and Dorothy Allen of Lambertville; three grandchildren, Robert III, Deborah and Philip; four great-grandchildren, Conor, Dylan, Ashley and Ben. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Rd. Pennington, with Curt Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Harbourton Cemetery
